Tahiti Group Immersion week

French in the Sun : A week of French tuition, conversation, local culture …
and warm tropical sunshine with the Alliance Française in Tahiti !
The Alliance is offering another chance for students of all levels to sample a French lifestyle with a group tour to this Pacific Island paradise.
This two centre holiday, taking in the capital Papeete and the beautiful island of Moorea, is planned for 18 -25 October 2012.

Provisional Itinerary

18 October: Depart Auckland arriving Papeete in the evening of the 17th October
17 October: Arrival transfer to Hotel Radisson
17-20 October: Accommodation and tuition at the Radisson. The hotel provides free return shuttle transfers into town daily for visits and shopping at the local markets.
20 October: Transfer to the ferry terminal, catamaran ferry across to Moorea which takes about 30 minutes and then transfer to your Moorea accommodation
20-23 October: Accommodation at the Intercontinental or Hotel Les Tipaniers.
23 October: Transfer to ferry, catamaran ferry to Papeete and transfer to your accommodation.
23-24 October: Accommodation at Hotel Tahiti Nui which is located in town so the group can enjoy the nightlife in town and possibly try some food at the “Roulottes”.
25 October: Transfer to the airport for your return flight to New Zealand.

Membership of the Alliance Francaise Wellington is open to persons living outside of the Greater Wellington region.
As a member of the Alliance Francaise Wellington outside of the region, in addition to the all the other benefits of membership, you are entitled to request materials from the French Library be posted to you.
Lending periods for materials are specially extended to take into account postage times.
To join as a member please complete the membership form and return with your cheque or payment advice.
Please note that in common with all members and institutions a bond of $40 is payable when borrowing Dvds. This bond is refundable on request.

Membership of the French Library is open to schools, unversities and other Alliances in New Zealand.
As a member of the French Library your is organisation is entitled to request materials from the French Library be posted to you.
Lending periods for materials are specially extended to take into account postage times.
To join as a member please complete the membership form and return with your cheque or payment advice.

Term Dates 2012

Generally the Alliance language class terms follow those of local schools and colleges.
Where public holidays fall within a term arrangements are made in consultation with each class to set an alternative date.

Term Times 2012

Term 1 : Mon. 30 Jan to Sat. 7 April

Term 2 : Mon. 23 April to Sat. 30 June

Term 3 : Mon. 16 July to Sat. 22 Sept

Term 4 : Mon. 8 Oct to Sat 15 Dec

Course Fees

Tuition fees for a ten week term of one hour classes at the Alliance Française total $125
Classes of 1.5 hours (15 hour course) $190
Discounts are available for families enrolling two or more children or when paying for multiple terms.

Additionally:

All students are required to take membership of the Alliance Française Wellington
Membership is an annual fee covering the period 1st January to 31st December.
Annual school student membership: $32
