The Alliance Française Wellington organises many events in connection with French Culture: concerts, exhibitions, shows, screenings, plays, conferences, festivals, etc.
The annual French Film Festival – the largest French cultural event in New Zealand – is managed from the premises in Wellington and promoted by the network of AF establishments nationwide. The festival takes place every year in March, and has an appeal that reaches far beyond the local French community. Aside from the film festival, the Alliance Française hosts regular drinks reception to celebrate a wide range of cultural activities. The best way to find out about these events is to subscribe to our newsletter, regularly check our website, our Facebook, our Twitter, or talk to one of our friendly staff members at our premises in the local CBD.
