FRENCH AT SCHOOL
Since 2009, we have been working with local schools and parents to bring our popular children’s French classes to classrooms outside of the Alliance Française.
Native French teachers from the Alliance Française Wellington can come to your school during the day or for after school French lessons. All our teachers are qualified in teaching FLE (French as a second language) and/or trained as primary school teachers in France.
Courses include interactive ways of learning French such as singing and playing and follow a programme. Classes are ideal for children in Years 2 – 8.
We are currently teaching French at the following Schools:
Clyde Quay, Karori West, Ngaio, Cashmere Avenue School, Seatoun School.
Testimonial from Linda Birch, Principal, St Brigid's School, Johnsonville:
"Thank you for the awesome programme you offer our children. I firmly believe that children should have a range of opportunities as they grow up."
Testimonial from Rachel, Tom's mother, Ngaio School:
"Thank you very much for teaching Tom French this year. He finishes Ngaio school this year and so won't be back to classes but the start that you have given him has made him keen to keep going when he goes to Scots next year. The classes have been a great start to build enthusiasm and confidence!"
