French Classes for Adults

We run a range of classes for adults covering all different levels of comprehension and ability. The majority of our adult classes run for 2 hours each week for a period of 10 weeks (20-hour course in total).

We offer classes for all levels (A1 to C1).

Our curriculum targets the systematic acquisition of grammar skills as a way to ensure long term development from language learning. While following this step-by-step approach, our skilled native French speaking teachers make a point of encouraging communication in French, as well as creating a lively atmosphere in the classroom. Even beginner level students find themselves speaking French from the first class!

Adult classes at Alliance Française Wellington typically run once a week in the mornings (10:00am – 12:00pm), lunchtime (conversation) or in the evenings (6:00pm – 8:00pm) depending on the level.

See our Course Outline to learn more about our levels and what they include. The exact schedule for a level may change from term to term. Please contact us for details.
